Does California Lemon Law Require a Specific Number of Repair Attempts?

Video Description:

People often ask me how many repairs they have to bring their car in for the car to be a lemon. And the truth is, there’s no single answer. There’s a common misconception by many that sometimes it’s three or sometimes it’s four, but it’s neither number. The law says that a manufacturer is given a reasonable number of repair attempts to conform your vehicle to its warranty so that it works.  And reasonableness is based on the circumstances of the case. So in some cases, it may just be two.  If you’ve had two major engine repairs early in the vehicle’s age, that might be enough.
