Over the last decade or so, I’ve noticed an odd phenomenon. While manufacturers profess that their vehicles are becoming more sophisticated and more reliable, more and more and more recalls are being issued than have ever been issued before. A recall used to be a big deal, and now everybody just accepts it as part for the course. Vehicles are being put out into the stream of commerce onto our streets and they’re not always ready to do so.
