I became a lawyer because I wanted to do something that was challenging and meaningful. And day in day out, I hear clients’ stories and I sign client checks and I know that I’m making a material difference in their lives. I grew up in Orange County, California. I moved to Los Angeles to come to college at UCLA, and I’ve lived here ever since. I am in my 13th year practicing Lemon Law. I’m the managing partner of Lemon Law Help by Knight Law Group. I didn’t fancy myself to be a Lemon Law attorney when I was going to law school. It was not something that was on my mind. But after a couple years of practice doing general practitioner work, my brother, who had started this Lemon Law Firm, asked me to join him. And since I’ve joined him, it has been the most professionally meaningful thing that I’ve ever done. The cases that we’ve tried, the cases that we’ve taken all the way up to the California Supreme Court, the meetings that I’ve had with California legislators, all in order to affect real change for the benefit of the consumers, have been very, very rewarding. The reason that I enjoy representing consumers in Lemon Law is because consumers are being wronged. The automotive industry is not operating with clean hands at all times. And people need lawyers like me, lawyers like my colleagues who know how these companies operate to effectively prosecute their claim. We believe in doing the hard work. We believe in fighting for your case all the way up to the California Supreme Court on more than one occasion for our clients. We will go the extra mile. Our process sometimes takes longer than other firms, but it’s because we intend to get you the best possible settlement and will not take a quick parachute out.
