Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX Recalled Over Rearview Camera Failure

Honda is recalling 59,887 model year 2024–2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX electric SUVs because the rearview camera image may become blurry, distorted or fail to display. According to recall documents, the rearview camera housing may not have been properly bonded, allowing moisture to enter the camera assembly and corrode internal electrical components.

At the time of this safety action, Honda’s recall remedy is not yet available.

Interim recall notices are expected to be mailed on July 6, 2026. When the recall remedy is available, affected owners will receive follow-up recall notices. Honda and Acura dealerships will replace the rearview cameras free of charge.
