Nissan Rogue Hybrids Recalled For Stalled Engines

A recall of Nissan Rogue Hybrid SUVs is being issued because blown fuses could stall the engines, leaving the vehicles unable to restart.

A white sedan is parked on the side of a road in a desert. More than 5,900 model year 2017–2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SUVs are being recalled because blown fuses could stall the engines. The recall includes more than 5,900 model year 2017–2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SUVs built between July 26, 2016 and December 15, 2018.

The electronic control module bracket can damage the engine wire harness, causing a short-circuit that blows the fuse.

As a result, no drive power goes to the engine and electric motor, and the engines stall without any warning to the driver.

Recall notices for Nissan Rogue Hybrids will be mailed December 15, 2021.

Dealers will install wire harness protectors on the engine room harnesses.
